Assisty

Assisty is a program that lets to maintain a personal diary on your computer. Just type your thoughts into the window, and click on the forward or back buttons to navigate to another date, and your content will be saved in a plain text file. You can then archive your thoughts, or copy paste them into blogger!

This program was written before OneNote was available, so the idea of not having to explicitly save your notes was quite interesting to me.
